Ha colore nero e lucentezza metallica, \u00e8 un carbone duro e fragile e pi\u00f9 pesante degli altri. D\u00e0 una fiamma corta, con poco fumo, sviluppa molto calore, essendo il carbone pi\u00f9 antico \u00e8 il pi\u00f9 ricco di carbonio. L&#8217;antracite in Italia \u00e8 di importazione e costosa e quindi viene poco utilizzata.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;<b>antracite<\/b> \u00e8 il carbone di qualit\u00e0 superiore, usato principalmente per il riscaldamento domestico. \u00c8 duro, fragile e nero lucido, contiene un&#8217;alta percentuale di carbonio fissato e una bassa percentuale di materia volatile.
