Il litantrace ha origine dalle sostanze organiche vegetali delle foreste del mesozoico ( 100-250 milioni di anni).<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0anni fa ). Il litantrace \u00e8 molto diffuso sulla crosta terrestre ed \u00e8, attualmente, la qualit\u00e0 di carbone pi\u00f9 utilizzata dall&#8217;uomo.
